Established in 1978 as Leard and Associates, later known as Leard-Bice & Associates and then Leard Bice Reeder, Inc., we changed our name in 2002 to LBR, Inc.

Over the years, LBR, Inc. has served more than half the public airports in Oklahoma. We maintain long-term relationships with our clients because we believe continuity of service is important. We think this is especially true with airport development, due to evolving FAA design standards, variations in grant programs and changes in personnel. In many cases LBR is the constant, having served through the 'changing of the guard' as FAA and OAC personnel, airport and city managers, mayors, and councils come and go.

Our professional staff currently includes two registered professional engineers, two AutoCAD technicians, one multi-functional office manager/grant administrator and two multi-functional working owners. If a project demands services beyond our in-house capabilities, we outsource. Tasks like topographic survey, geotechnical investigation, construction inspection, environmental studies, architecture, mechanical, electrical, and structural design are assigned to associates via sub-contract with LBR. This helps us to maintain a small, efficient and affordable consultancy, because clients are not charged for the overhead costs associated with specialists that are not required for their project.

Efficient use of technology is crucial to success in 21st century business. At LBR, all documentation is computer-generated using the latest computer equipment and industry-standard software. The Internet serves as a vital source of information and enhances communication and exchange of documentation between our two office locations and our clients.
